Shortcut Key Group Windows 8 

The Microsoft next operating system , Windows 8,  comes with the latest Metro Style features that also support Tablet PCs . However, until now Microsoft Corp. has not announced officially launching it.

In this article we display a collection of shortcut keys that will be useful to speed up your work when using Windows 8  by using keyboard key combinations.

  • Windows Key (W) : Switch between the Start screen and the Windows Store app that you just opened or desktop.
  • (W) + 1, (W) + 2, (W) + 3 : Switch to the desktop and launch the application “n” on the taskbar. For example, W +1 launches the first application in the list, from left to right.
  • (W) + B : Switch to the desktop and set focus to the tray notification area.
  • (W) + C : Displays charm and time / date / notification / battery overlay.
  • (W) + D : Switch to desktop and Show Desktop toggle (hide / show each other apps and windows).
  • (W) + E : Switch to the desktop and launch Windows Explorer by displaying the Computer tab.
  • (W) + F : File Search.
  • (W)+ H : Buka charm Share.
  • (W)+ I : Buka setting charm.
  • (W) + A : Swap foreground between snapp and app.
  • (W)+ K : Buka Devices charm.
  • (W) + L : Lock (PC) the PC and enter the Lock screen.
  • (W) + M : Switch to the desktop and minimize all open windows.

  • (W) + SHIFT + V : Cycle through toast notifications in reverse order.
  • (W) + X : Open the advanced context menu in the lower left corner of the screen.
  • (W) + Z : Open the application-specific bar from the command at the bottom of the screen.
  • (W) + ENTER : Launch Narrator.
  • (W) + SPACEBAR : Switch input languages ​​and keyboard layouts.
  • (W) + TAB : Displays the Windows app Store thumbnail and cycles to the application.
  • (W) + SHIFT + TAB : Displays the aWindows app Store thumbnail and cycles to the application in reverse order.

  • HOME : Select the first Tile on the Start screen.
  • END : Select the last Tile on the Start screen.
  • PAGE UP : Moves the selected Tile in the display page.
  • PAGE DOWN : Move the bottom Tile in the display page.
  • SPACEBAR : Select the first Tile on the Start screen and display options at the bottom of the screen.
